RAID JAPAN’s 2WAY is a soft bait with a unique design featuring two bodies connected by a joint, allowing it to be used in different ways according to the fish’s condition and the situation. During development, it was designed as a worm for sight fishing, with numerous thin legs arranged along the sides of the body from the central spherical section. The deep ringed ribs grip the water, generating resistance and water displacement during manipulation despite its compact body.

The basic setup is a short-leader drop-shot rig with a masu hook inserted through the central spherical section. When worked slowly by raising and lowering the sinker, the body folds into a V shape and rolls, while the legs follow to produce a complex action. A jighead wacky rig provides a more direct feel during manipulation and is also suitable for fishing around cover. When the body is separated and used as half a bait, it can also be rigged with a masu hook and nail sinker, allowing an approach in which the legs move subtly as the bait falls. The key feature of the 2WAY is its ability to produce different actions from a single body design by varying the rig and presentation.
