Raid Japan Egu Dama

RAID JAPAN’s EGU-DAMA is a rubber jig designed to enhance the bite appeal and maneuverability required of a small rubber jig. The series includes the Type-KIWAMI, a versatile standard model that is easy to use in a wide range of situations, and the Type-LEVEL, designed for presentations that suspend the jig around cover and vertical structure.

The Type-KIWAMI features proprietary tapered rubber that produces subtle vibrations underwater. Its 50-degree line tie and semi-Arky head shape provide both precise control and smooth navigation through cover. The weight distribution is designed to maximize casting distance and create a natural falling posture, while the trailer keeper securely holds the trailer in place. It is fitted with a custom RYUGI hook. By selecting from weights such as 1.8 g, 2.3 g, and 2.7 g, anglers can build presentations centered on dragging the jig along the bottom, shaking it, and allowing it to fall, from open water to light cover.

The Type-LEVEL is designed for targeting situations where bass are less responsive to straightforward cover fishing or the free fall of finesse baits by suspending the jig around vertical structure such as timber, laydowns, bushes, and seawalls. Its design helps the jig maintain a horizontal posture underwater, allowing for shaking and stationary presentations while it is suspended. Intended for use with bait finesse or power finesse tackle, it enables anglers to carefully work around cover using weights such as 3.5 g.
