RAID JAPAN’s MASTERBLASTER is designed to enhance the fundamental performance expected of a buzzbait: sound, water displacement, and durability. Its unique sound-generating mechanism, in which the propeller contacts the aluminum tube covering the arm, produces a soft “washawasha” sound from the very first use. No break-in is required, allowing the sound generated by the rotating propeller and its water displacement to be utilized simultaneously.

The propeller incorporates aluminum components and is designed to generate torque as it rotates through friction against the aluminum tube. As the propeller grips and churns the water’s surface, it attracts fish not only with sound but also with surface disturbance. The arm is made from an extra-thick 1.4 mm-diameter wire and features a simple yet rugged construction that resists bending when snagged in cover or after hooking a fish. It is basically designed to be retrieved at a steady speed while focusing on the surface, maintaining consistent propeller rotation and surface disturbance.
