RAID JAPAN’s FULLSWING is designed to move the entire body firmly even on an ultra-slow retrieve, without being bound by the conventional formula for a shad-tail soft bait. The body shape from head to tail, the texture and hardness of the material, and the salt distribution along the top and bottom of the body have all been adjusted to achieve an optimal balance throughout. Rather than moving only the tail, it produces a dynamic swimming action in which the body wriggles from side to side during the retrieve, working in conjunction with the tail’s water displacement. Its specific gravity, created with a moderate salt content, also provides good castability. It is easy to handle even on a weightless rig, allowing anglers to slowly trace the subsurface range on a dead-slow retrieve without sinking too quickly.

The basic setup is a weightless rig with an offset hook. In addition to maintaining a steady retrieve immediately after the lure lands, it also responds to slower retrieves that bring out the body roll and tail action. It is available in 3.5-inch, 4-inch, and 5-inch sizes, with the body volume and recommended hook size set for each model. The 3.5-inch is intended for use with a 2/0-class offset hook, the 4-inch with a 4/0-class hook, and the 5-inch with a 5/0-class hook.
