Raid Japan Level Minnow

RAID JAPAN’s LEVEL MINNOW is a 125 mm-class minnow plug developed with a focus on casting distance, action responsiveness, and depth versatility. Despite its long-minnow profile, it is designed for easy handling on a steady retrieve, with action that starts even from the weight of the line alone.

It features a magnetic weight-transfer system that shifts the moving weight to the rear of the body during the cast. Combined with the balance between the body shape, lip angle, and counterweight that stabilizes the flight posture, this system delivers a stable casting feel. During the retrieve, it produces an ultra-tight, high-pitch action and maintains its swimming action even when drifting with the current. Adding jerks or twitches produces a darting action with a sharp, flashing turn.

The lip incorporates a semi-catapult system, allowing the lure to swim with a shallow diving angle while maintaining a horizontal posture. When using fluorocarbon line, its maximum diving depth is approximately 1.5 m. The running depth can be adjusted from just under 1 m to slightly over 1.5 m by raising the rod position to limit the dive or lowering it to make the lure dive deeper. This long minnow offers a high degree of depth and presentation versatility, allowing anglers to work a consistent depth with a steady retrieve or combine jerks and twitches to trigger strikes.
