Ryugi Talisman Brutal Heavy Guard

RYUGI’s TALISMAN BRUTAL HG is a heavy-guard model of its reinforced wacky hook, designed for use with tackle subjected to heavy loads that the standard TALISMAN may struggle to handle. It is designed for worming techniques around cover up to medium cover with baitcasting tackle or heavy spinning tackle using PE line, combining hook strength with snag resistance.

The guard uses a wire that is even stronger and stiffer than the one on the Heavy Guard TALISMAN. The base TALISMAN BRUTAL features a longer shank than the TALISMAN, allowing the guard to be set at a sharper angle relative to the shank. This design enables the guard to function when contacting cover while allowing it to fold naturally without resisting during the hookset. It is a model well suited to setups that use strong tackle to work a wacky rig and target areas around cover. Available sizes are 1/0, 2/0, 3/0, and 4/0.
