RYUGI’s FOOTBALL HEAD SPARE WIRE is a replacement wire part for use when the wire included with a football head becomes deformed or damaged. It is intended to repair the wire that prevents the hook from coming off, restoring the football head to a condition where it can continue to be used. It is compatible with the FOOTBALL HEAD TG (previous model) and FOOTBALL HEAD G2, and is available in four sizes: for 5 g and 7 g, for 10 g and 14 g, for 17.5 g, and for 21 g.
To install it, pass the hook eye through the gap in the wire part, then insert it into the sinker body using pliers or a similar tool. The wire is designed to attach and detach firmly to help prevent the hook from coming off, so tools must be used when removing, installing, or reshaping it. If the wire becomes deformed during installation or removal, it may not perform as intended. It is not designed for installation or removal of the wire, or for hook replacement, while the line is tied on. If the wire shifts during use or after contacting cover, the hook may come off. Applying excessive force or repeatedly bending and straightening the wire may cause damage due to metal fatigue, so check its condition during use.
