RYUGI’s TALISMAN BRUTAL is a reinforced wacky hook developed for heavy loads that would be difficult for the TALISMAN’s standard wire diameter to withstand, as well as forceful fights with fish. It is designed for situations where significant force is placed on the hook, such as when using baitcasting tackle or heavy spinning tackle paired with PE line. Based on the standard TALISMAN, it features a thicker wire diameter.
Made from Cyber Metal and retaining the TALISMAN’s bend design, it pursues both recovery and strength when the hook opens under load. Designed for use with soft plastics on a wacky rig, it supports hook-setting and fighting while taking advantage of its strong wire. With a design that prioritizes strength over the TALISMAN, this model is suited to situations where you want to maintain control around cover or are concerned about deformation when using a standard wacky hook. Available in sizes #1/0 to #4/0, it can be selected to match the volume of the soft plastic being used.
