RYUGI’s GLIDE HANGER is a versatile rigging component that allows you to adjust worm control and bottom behavior by changing the sinker’s position. In the Glide Rig, which combines the GLIDE HANGER with a sinker, the sinker moves toward the rear relative to the direction of travel after the rig settles on the bottom. This setup is designed for manipulating worms around structure, combining a moderate sense of resistance from the sinker with the ability to slip through areas around cover. When changing the type or weight of the sinker, adjustments can be made without cutting the line.
To set up the rig, first pass the line through the front eye, tie it to the offset hook, and rig the worm. Next, pass the sinker through the hanger eye, slide it to the area between the front eye and the eye on the offset hook side, and attach the hanger eye to the offset hook. After attaching it, firmly close the specified section of the hanger eye by pinching it from both sides with your fingers, pliers, or a similar tool before use. Since it may open during use, its condition should be checked while fishing. The R4001 is available in S, M, and L sizes.
