RYUGI’s PIERCE QUAD is a four-point plug hook developed with a primary focus on securing hookups. Inheriting the shape of the PIERCE TREBLE, its wide-gap design increases the likelihood that multiple hook points will contact the fish during a bite, while its structure is designed to snag and hold the fish securely.
In addition to the TC coating, which delivers exceptional penetration, the thinner hook wire prioritizes penetration during the hookset. After the fish is hooked, the Spin Eye rotates 360° to follow the fish’s movements, helping reduce pulled hooks by adapting to changes in hook orientation during the fight. When used as a replacement hook for plugs, its four hook points can create overlapping hookups and increase water resistance, so it is best suited for large lures or the front position of lures with voluminous bodies. Available in sizes 2/0 through 4.
