RYUGI’s DOUBLE EDGE is a worm hook designed to firmly set the hook even when sufficient hook-setting power is difficult to transmit. It features an ultra-thin shank engineered to its limits, without assuming powerful fights or oversized tackle. In addition to the thin shank diameter, it uses a long taper and TC coating. The hook point is designed to enter the fish smoothly, helping reduce short strikes and pull-outs even when dealing with subtle bites around cover or through riprap.
The overall balance, including the hook shape and barb, has also been refined with consideration given to preventing fish from coming unbuttoned after the hookset. It is designed for situations where the fish wraps around structure and line tension is lost, allowing the angler to take time and work the fish to the net. This distinctive offset-style worm hook combines the sharp penetration of a thin shank with a balanced design that helps keep fish pinned after the hookset.
