Ryugi Vespa

RYUGI’s VESPA is a finesse jig head designed for finesse fishing with lines of 4 lb or lighter, with the aim of reducing the fish losses that can easily occur with jig heads. It combines a thin-wire hook, designed to prioritize penetration, with a small barb, and features a TC coating and Cyber Metal. Careful consideration has also been given to the positioning of the line eye and hook point in pursuit of improved hooking performance.

The head is made of tungsten, and its concentrated center of gravity improves responsiveness during the retrieve. The keeper is designed to hold the worm securely while using a compact shape that minimizes disruption to the worm’s silhouette. The line eye is positioned horizontally, helping prevent the knot position from shifting during use and stabilizing the action. At the same time, changing the knot position to the front or rear of the line eye allows anglers to vary the action. SVS084 uses a #3 hook, while SVS085 uses a #2 hook. Each model is available in weights ranging from 1/48 oz (0.6 g) to 3/32 oz (2.7 g), allowing anglers to choose according to the worm size and desired sink rate.
