RYUGI’s DS HEAVY DELTA is a heavy-weight model designed for use with weighty drop-shot rigs, while retaining the ease of use of the DS DELTA. Made from high-specific-gravity sintered tungsten, it has the weight marked on the sinker body. In addition to high sensitivity and fast-sinking performance, its design makes it easy to select the intended weight on the water.
The body features an elongated shape with the center of gravity positioned at the bottom, helping prevent its descent speed from being impeded and making it easier to avoid snags on the bottom. Its triangular cross-section helps prevent it from rolling unintentionally when lying on its side on the bottom, reducing the likelihood of the sinker dropping into gaps between rocks. Instead of a conventional line stopper, the line attachment point uses a round eye, allowing even a heavy sinker to be securely tied on. Unlike types that simply catch the knot, this model is set up by tying the line to the round eye during use. It is designed for situations where a drop-shot rig requires additional weight, such as in deep water or current, allowing you to work the rig while checking the bottom conditions.
