Ryugi Weighted Brutal

RYUGI’s WEIGHTED BRUTAL is a large weighted hook based on the Pierce Hook Brutal, designed for swimming presentations with large swimbaits and stick baits. It inherits the weight placement, shape, and weight specifications used in the Weighted Pierce, which were developed to maintain the worm’s swimming balance and help it slip through structures such as weeds, and has been optimized for large worms. The WEIGHTED BRUTAL has been renewed with a TC coating.

By integrating the weight into the hook, the design makes it easier to swim the worm in a consistent posture and is well suited to mid-water swimming presentations with swimbaits and stick baits. The hook carries on the design concept of the Pierce Hook Brutal, delivering reliable hook-setting performance and resistance to bending thanks to the spring-back of the hook wire. When rigging the worm, the basic setup is to align the hook point along the worm in an offset configuration, avoid exposing the point more than necessary around cover, and adjust the rig so the worm maintains its posture while swimming. Available in 6/0 and 7/0 sizes, it can be selected according to the volume of the worm being used.
