Ryugi Pierce Hook Brutal TC

RYUGI’s PIERCE HOOK BRUTAL TC is a large model in the PIERCE HOOK series, designed to catch the thick, hard upper jaws of large fish. Based on the original BRUTAL, its overall balance was reevaluated and the hook was enlarged for monster fishing. It features a TC coating that improves penetration—unavailable at the time of the original’s development—achieving a balance of strength and hooking performance.

The hook has a distinctive wide-gap silhouette with a continuous, curved profile, making it well suited to bulky soft plastics. A special worm keeper shifts the soft plastic during the bite, taking both soft-plastic retention and movement during the hookset into consideration. It is suitable for techniques centered on swimming, falling, and bottom-staying presentations with large soft plastics, including weightless, Texas, and Carolina rigs. Available in sizes 6/0 and 7/0, it can be selected according to the bulk of the soft plastic being used and how much of the hook point you want to expose.
