Ryugi Pierce Treble Brutal TC

RYUGI’s PIERCE TREBLE BRUTAL is a treble hook designed for hook-setting with large plugs, featuring a shape that makes it easier to catch light bites while balancing penetration and strength. Based on the PIERCE TREBLE, it has been redesigned with a longer shank to increase the chances of the hook point coming into contact with the fish. Despite its large size, it delivers sharp penetration through the use of a small barb and a low-friction TC coating. It also features a variable design with different wire diameters for each size, allowing the balance between penetration and strength to be optimized for the intended application. The 2/0 and 1/0 sizes use thinner wire than the previous models, prioritizing penetration when the plug does not fully enter the fish’s mouth and the hook must set around the hard scales near the mouth. The #0 to #3 sizes use slightly thicker wire for use with powerful tackle, ensuring sufficient strength. This model can be selected alongside the PIERCE TREBLE, which prioritizes penetration, or the BRUTAL, which prioritizes strength, depending on the application.
