RYUGI’s PIERCE HOOK TC is a second-generation hook that retains the wide-gap silhouette and worm-holding power of the original PIERCE HOOK while incorporating a TC coating for improved penetration. The entire hook is designed with a distinctive curved profile, creating a gap that readily accommodates bulky worms. It also features a specialized worm keeper that allows the worm to shift slightly when a fish bites, balancing secure worm retention with easy release during the hookset. With its high-strength design and TC coating, this model achieves both excellent penetration and reliable strength.
It is suitable for weightless, Texas, Carolina, and other rigs, and is ideal for techniques centered on swimming a worm, letting it fall, or keeping it on the bottom. To rig it, thread the worm straight onto the hook head and secure it with the keeper, then bring the hook point out through the body and return it into the worm using a standard worm-hook setup. HPH061 is available in sizes 1, 1/0, 2/0, 3/0, 4/0, 5/0, and 5/0+, allowing you to choose according to the worm’s bulk and the required gap. The color is TC Black.
