Ryugi Talisman

RYUGI’s TALISMAN is a wacky hook designed for making both delicate and aggressive presentations around weeds and cover with a Neko rig on power tackle. It combines a slightly thicker shank design with a shape based on the bent design of the Pierce Hook, ensuring strength. Made from Cyber Metal, it offers increased rigidity and a finish that helps prevent the hook point from dulling. In addition, the TC coating, also used on the Tantrum Control, is designed to enhance hook-point penetration.

The standard HTA053 is designed for use with a worm rigged Neko style, allowing anglers to target and land fish around cover. The Regular Guard Talisman (HRT112) features a modified shape based on the Talisman and is intended for use around relatively light cover. Its multi-strand guard is not overly stiff, providing snag resistance when contacting cover while flexing and collapsing easily in any direction when a fish bites, helping it avoid interfering with the hookset. The guard can also be cut to reduce the number of strands and weaken its snag resistance. The Heavy Guard Talisman (HHT113) is designed for power spinning or baitcasting tackle using line rated 6 lb or heavier. Its two wire guards extend to both sides to handle contact with cover from directly above or from either side. The guard force can be adjusted by bending the guards upward toward the line eye.
