KAHARA JAPAN’s KJ Tournament Marker is a tournament-use marker designed with fish safety in mind, using a clip-on design that attaches to the fish’s lip. Rather than gripping the fish’s body tightly or inserting anything deep into its mouth, the marker is held on the lip and can be used to identify fish after they have been caught.

The marker measures 35 cm in overall length and weighs 17 g. Its slim body incorporates the marker function into an easy-to-handle shape when attached around the fish’s mouth. It is available in different colors for improved visibility, making it suitable for situations where multiple markers are used separately. When using it, clip the body onto the fish’s lip and confirm that the marker is securely attached before handling the fish. When releasing the fish, make sure the marker has been removed. This model is designed for situations such as tournaments and catch management, where fish need to be marked while minimizing stress on the fish.
