Z-Man’s ChatterBait Elite EVO is a bladed jig designed to generate vibration from the start of the retrieve and produce an erratic, side-to-side hunting action by combining the connection angle between the blade and head with a uniquely shaped head. Its patented direct head-to-blade connection works in conjunction with the hexagonal ChatterBlade, creating a cracking sound in addition to vibration as the blade strikes the head. The head features a blunt nose, a convex water-channeling ridge on top, and flanges along the sides, a design that helps produce erratic movement even when retrieve speed changes.

The lure is equipped with a custom 5/0 heavy-duty black nickel needlepoint hook. The extended shank creates a pivot point between the head and hook point, helping the lure pull free when snagged on wood or other cover. The barb’s size and position have also been adjusted, while the 100% silicone skirt is secured with wire to help maintain its flare and undulating action while providing durability. Trailers are held in place by a keeper that combines a molded split grip with wire, accommodating both ElaZtech and standard soft plastics. Available in 3/8 oz and 1/2 oz sizes, the lure is primarily fished with a retrieve, while its hunting action can be adjusted through changes in speed and rod manipulation.
