Engine Writhe

ENGINE’s Writhe 2.8 is the result of years of development, bringing to market a realistic fish-shaped worm fitted with synthetic fibers. Developed for targeting fish near the surface, it features a salt-infused elastomer body. Designed primarily for subtle twitching techniques, it uses a softer material than the conventional Like Elastomer to produce delicate vibrations. In addition, the surface is treated to reduce the gloss characteristic of elastomer, while the tail is combined with synthetic fibers.

During use, it responds to subtle twitching presentations created through fine rod movements at the surface. The fiber-covered tail and flexible body produce delicate, fish-like action. For twitching presentations, a Superior M II Hook size 8 is suitable, while size 5 is recommended for an I-shaped setup. The overall length is 2.8 inches. To prevent deformation of the elastomer and melting caused by contact with plastic materials, storage in the dedicated tray is recommended after use.
