Engine Boso Frog

ENGINE’s Boso Frog is an elastomer frog-shaped bait developed under the supervision of Kazuto Hanyu, who has extensive knowledge of frog patterns in the Boso area. Unlike conventional frog lures, its design is centered on reproducing the relaxed posture a frog takes when it stops after swimming, delivering a realistic, straight-line swimming action. During the retrieve, it moves across the surface in a frog-like posture, and when paused, its relaxed legs sway underwater to attract fish. It is designed for a retrieve-and-pause presentation, allowing you to create a pause with the leg action after drawing fish in with the swimming motion. The body is made of elastomer and features flexible, relaxed legs positioned at the rear. A SUPERIOR CO Hook #4 is recommended, providing a setup that makes it easy to take advantage of the frog’s posture and leg movement. Combining a straight swimming action with a relaxed, drifting appearance on the pause, this model was designed with the Boso frog pattern in mind.
