Engine Verme

ENGINE’s VERME is a soft bait developed around the concept of making tail-less grubs easier and more affordable to use, while also making them more effective for fishing. Its simple tail-free body is designed primarily for weightless presentations, allowing you to take advantage of the body’s own presence and weight.

The lineup includes the VERME 40 and VERME 60. The VERME 60 measures 60 mm in length and weighs approximately 8.4 g. Its substantial weight makes it easy to cast long distances even with standard baitcasting tackle, making it well suited for covering a wider area, including spots that are difficult to reach from shore, the fast-flowing center of a current, and areas around complex cover. In addition to slow presentations with a weightless rig, it has been used for sight fishing and around light cover. A rig using a Superior Hook CO Hook #3 is recommended, and tuning examples include inserting rubber strands into the body and applying additional GEEB Formula as needed. The VERME 40 is the compact, easy-to-handle option, while the VERME 60 is designed for anglers who prioritize casting distance and a wider range of cover applications.
