Engine Like

ENGINE’s Like is a realistic soft bait designed with feeding bass in mind, with careful attention to baitfish size, salt content, and in-water performance. In the standard lineup, the 2.5-inch model features a salt-infused solid body for a sinking presentation, while the 3-inch model has a salt-infused hollow body suited to weightless twitching, mid-strolling, and drop-shot presentations. The 3-inch model is also used for “Pikupiku” fishing, a technique that subtly entices fish near the surface.

The Elastomer Series features buoyancy and action that differ from those of the standard material. The Baby Like 2-inch Elastomer produces subtle movements in response to even the slightest current, along with a rolling action when manipulated with the rod. On a drop shot or light Carolina rig, it can create the appearance of a baitfish suspended in the water. The Like 3-inch Elastomer also remains buoyant, making it suitable for targeting the surface with an ultra-light nail sinker, as well as for drop-shot and light Carolina rig presentations. The Like Quad Shad features a tetrahedral body and large fins that act as stabilizers, improving tracking while suppressing roll. It is suited to mid-strolling with approximately 0.6–1.3 g, weightless presentations, hover strolling, and swivel Carolina rigs.

The Like Two ES features a 2-inch body with synthetic pectoral fins, creating a subtle, drifting action in which the tail gently waves in the current. It is compatible with hover strolling, light Carolina rigs, drop shots, and jig heads. The Like Two-Five ES measures 2.5 inches, with pectoral fins that stabilize the fall and support presentations that pause and let the bait drift. It is designed for use with MⅡ hooks, HS hooks, and jig heads, as well as with a nail sinker.
