ATEC’s tailwalk LURE PICK UPPER is a rope-style lure retriever featuring an original design, allowing it to tackle deep snags that are difficult to reach with stick-type retrievers. Hook the line ring onto the main line, feed out the rope to lower the sinker to the snagged lure, then guide the chains to the lure for retrieval.
The sinker features a heavy 225 g weight, making it easy to smoothly lower to the snag. The line ring is shaped for easy attachment, secure holding, and easy removal, with an approximately 14 mm diameter that accommodates larger plugs. The sinker eye is positioned close to the path of the main line hooked onto the ring, helping the chains make contact with the snagged lure. The tip is equipped with four chains designed for strength and corrosion resistance. The rope is approximately 12 m long and uses a high-strength twisted construction, allowing it to be fed down to deep snags when retrieving lures from the shoreline or a boat.
