Skillful Sukoburu Series

Skillful’s Scoble series was developed to take advantage of the high buoyancy of foamed urethane, delivering a crankbait-style action and easy handling even in a compact body. The foamed urethane that Skillful specializes in offers buoyancy that is difficult to achieve with plastic products, while also providing the production efficiency that is challenging with handmade wooden lures. Centered around the Scoble Crank, the lineup includes models with different body sizes, lip shapes, and diving ranges, allowing anglers to choose between them for primarily shallow-water power fishing.

One of the representative derivative models, the Tiny Scoble Jet, is a smaller model in the Scoble Jet family. Its long lip is designed to make it easier to deflect off structure and continue its action after contact, while its high-pitch action takes advantage of the buoyancy of foamed urethane. It starts moving easily from the beginning of the retrieve and is suited to a steady retrieve, while also allowing anglers to contact cover and obstacles and use its buoyancy to work free. The Scoble Jr. retains the original model’s fat silhouette and wide wobble-and-roll action, while its smaller size increases the action pitch. By considering the differences in size, lip design, and diving range between models, anglers can rotate them according to the target depth and distance from cover or obstacles.
