Rodiocraft (RODIO CRAFT) × deps RC FLAT BACK JIG is a collaboration model based on the deps Flat Back Jig, refined with swimming applications in mind. Its head shape provides excellent lift, allowing it to be worked with lift-and-fall retrieves through weeds or swum at a consistent depth. While maintaining the presence of a rubber jig, it is designed to perform easily with horizontal retrieves as well.
The skirt is equipped with a 140 mm-long skirt made of fine silicone rubber. The rubber spreads widely underwater and undulates in response to the head’s movement during the retrieve. The hook has been upgraded to a 5/0 size to accommodate large pork trailers, while its heavy-wire construction is suited to fishing around cover with heavy tackle. The basic presentation is to let the jig sink to the desired depth after casting, then swim it back at a steady speed. Near the bottom, combine the retrieve with a lift-and-fall action. The 3/8 oz and 1/2 oz weights can be selected according to the water depth, current, and tackle being used.
