Yaguchi Tackle’s Alive Shad is a soft bait based on the shad-shaped design developed by Roboworm, created to pursue a natural action for finesse fishing. Its hand-poured-style body is supple and highly responsive, while the gently curved belly characteristic of a shad allows it to glide smoothly through the water as if floating. The slim tail is designed to respond easily to water movement even when the body is stationary, continuing to produce a subtle presentation.

The colors use a triple-color molding process made possible by Roboworm’s proprietary robot technology, achieving consistent color combinations. It also features a unique salt-release system that releases salt when a fish bites, designed to help the fish hold onto the lure when it takes it in its mouth. With a split-shot rig, it takes advantage of its floating feel and gliding action, while a drop-shot rig allows anglers to capitalize on the fine movements of the slim tail for a subtle presentation. Available in 3-inch and 4-inch sizes, it can be selected according to the size and silhouette of the forage. The 3-inch model is suited to finesse setups that take advantage of its compact silhouette.
