Rebel’s Pop-R is the original model that has long been regarded as the standard for topwater poppers. It is designed to entice fish while producing spit and popping sounds on the surface. When retrieved across the water, the body rolls from side to side while deflecting water, creating a surface action accompanied by sound and splashes. This popper is easy to adjust in terms of travel distance and sound production by varying the strength of the rod action and the timing of pauses.

The lineup includes the 2-inch P50 Teeny Pop-R with #8 hooks and the 2 1/2-inch P60 Pop-R with #6 hooks. Smaller than the P60, the P50 is lightweight and easy to work quickly, while the P60 is the standard-size model, making it easier to produce a more substantial presence and action. Both are designed for surface use and can be worked with short movements after landing to create spits and pops, or fished with pauses between movements to entice fish on the surface. The rear treble hook features a dressed design that adds flash.
