The reins Yago Imo series is a bite-oriented Imo-style bait developed from the idea of cutting the tail from a 2.5-inch G-Tail Saturn and rigging it in reverse. Based on experience showing that fish continued to bite a slimmer profile when thicker Imo-style baits produced little response, it features a slim ribbed body.
The 1.8-inch Yago Imo features deeply cut, widely spaced ribs that grip the water during action to produce subtle vibrations. Its body is designed to bend easily on the hookset. Slow presentations with a Carolina rig or split-shot rig are the basic approach, while a heavier drop-shot rig can also be used to trigger reaction bites.
The 2-inch Yago Imo Plus is a larger model with added weight for weightless use while keeping its overall volume restrained. In addition to falling presentations, its widely spaced ribs create just the right amount of resistance during straight retrieves, allowing for a responsive feel while retrieving.
