reins’ 4.8” RACT SHAD is a split-tail shad worm developed with power mid-strolling in mind. It is designed for the increasingly popular technique of imitating a small baitfish to draw bass in, then triggering a reaction by making it appear to escape. The 4.8-inch, approximately 120 mm body combines a bulge near the tail with a long split tail.
On a jighead rig, it produces a rolling action and transitions into an escape action when retrieved quickly. The shape near the tail creates fine, complex vibrations during a fast retrieve. Its soft material, combined with a salt-free material on the back and salt-infused material on the belly, provides lifelike movement and stable swimming performance. Centered around mid-strolling with a jighead, it is designed to produce different actions by varying the retrieve speed. The 4.8” RACT SHAD is FECO-certified for JB/NBC tournaments.
