Reins’ Racing Little Reins Hog is a 3-inch (approximately 76 mm) model based on the classic small hog-style soft bait, infused with the Racing Series’ special fish attractant. It adopts the body shape of the Little Reins Hog, developed through detailed refinements while carrying on the lineage of the Little B Hog and Tiny B Hog. Its compact hog-style silhouette creates a noticeable profile, while the body’s hog-style appendages are designed to produce an effective presentation according to how it is worked, including dragging or pausing on the bottom and lift-and-fall retrieves.
The primary setups are a Texas rig and jig trailer, but it can also be used with a heavy drop shot or Carolina rig. It is also easy to incorporate into various light-rig presentations, allowing you to choose the rig while taking advantage of the Little Reins Hog’s versatility. Around cover, a Texas rig can be used to probe the bottom and areas near obstacles, while in open water, a drop-shot or Carolina rig can be used to adjust the depth.
