Reins’ Finslinger is a small finesse bait designed for finesse fishing, combining a ring body with a fin tail. The body features widely spaced, deep ribs designed to catch water more easily and improve hooking performance. The fin tail at the rear of the body has a flat profile, allowing it to respond delicately to angler input. By combining the water displacement generated by the ring body with the subtle action of the fin tail, this design is intended to trigger bites in situations where bass show little response to large movements.
Rather than covering water with strong attraction, the 3-inch model is suited to imparting subtle movements that take advantage of the action of the ribs and fin tail. While using the body’s ability to grip the water, it is designed to draw strikes from bass through delicate manipulation without creating excessively large movements. Despite its simple ring-body-and-fin-tail construction, the depth of the ribs and the shape of the tail provide both a noticeable presence underwater and a natural action.
