Reins’ TG Football Jig Head is designed around a compact tungsten profile and the maneuverability and snag resistance of a football-shaped head. The head can be kept small while maintaining sufficient weight, and it can be paired with a variety of soft baits, including creature baits, twin-tail grubs, and craw worms. The head features a double-collar worm keeper that securely holds soft baits in place, helping prevent them from slipping during casting or bottom contact. The sharp hook is combined with a lightweight weed guard, reducing snags when probing cover or changes in bottom structure without significantly interfering with hook-setting.

It is primarily suited to techniques such as dragging a rigged worm along the bottom, slowly retrieving it, or probing the terrain with bottom bumps. By manipulating the jig head so that the football-shaped head stands upright, anglers can move it while feeling the contours of the bottom, and it can also be used for swimming-style presentations as conditions require. Hook sizes of 1/0 and 2/0 are available, with weights of 5/16 oz, 3/8 oz, and 1/2 oz, allowing anglers to choose according to the volume of the soft bait, water depth, and desired handling. The number of weed guards is also matched to the hook size.
