Reins Rainshog

reins’ Reins Hog is a hog-style soft bait developed to improve efficiency when fishing cover. The 3.5-inch Reins Hog features a tapered head designed to prevent the bait’s head from extending beyond the diameter of the sinker when used on a light Texas rig, helping reduce the tendency for the head to catch on obstacles and become stuck. In addition, the arm-like appendages have triangular loop-shaped cross sections, allowing the upper arms to catch water more easily on a flat surface when trimmed and helping bring out their action. Primarily designed for working around cover on a light Texas rig, its action can be adjusted by trimming the appendages.

The lineup includes the 2-inch Tiny Reins Hog, the 3-inch Little Reins Hog, and the 3.5-inch Reins Hog. The Tiny Reins Hog uses the same appendages that made the 3.5-inch model popular, giving this compact bait plenty of appeal and castability. It is also suited to tough conditions and targeting smallmouth bass. The Little Reins Hog inherits the lineage of the Little B-Hog and Tiny B-Hog while incorporating improvements, and is sized for a wide range of applications, including Texas rigs, jig trailers, and various light rigs.
