Rapala Shadrap Elite

Rapala’s Shad Rap® Elite is a mid-depth crankbait based on the proven Shad Rap design, combining a premium balsa body, a natural shad profile, and a swimming action that mimics an injured baitfish. Its slightly heavier weight for its size helps increase casting distance, making it suitable for both casting and trolling. The design is built to maintain its action across a range of retrieve speeds, from ultra-slow to fast.

The body features an integrated, forged and flattened through-wire construction, with wire connecting the front and rear to enhance durability. Its finish combines high-definition patterns with a metallic gilded face for a distinctive appearance. It is a floating lure. The SRE55 measures 2-1/4 inches in body length, dives 8–9 feet, and weighs 1/4 ounce. The SRE75 measures 3 inches, dives 9–11 feet, and weighs 7/16 ounce. Standard equipment includes VMC Inline Hybrid Treble 2X hooks and heavy-duty split rings, with two No. 8 hooks on the SRE55 and two No. 6 hooks on the SRE75. In addition to a steady retrieve, it can be used for slower presentations and trolling to cover mid-depth ranges.
