Lucky Craft LC Crank

Lucky Craft’s LC Crank (LC Series) is a resin square-bill crankbait designed with an emphasis on deflecting around cover and triggering bass strikes by contacting hard-bottom structure. Its buoyant body is easier to make durable than a wooden crankbait, allowing the lure to be worked while the bill contacts wood cover, laydowns, rocks, riprap, bridge pilings, and weeds. It features excellent deflection when contacting cover, rapid attitude recovery after clearing obstacles, and a stable wobbling action, making it easy to produce action even on a steady retrieve.

The lineup includes different models based on size, bill shape, buoyancy, and sound, including the LC 0.3DD, LC1.0 D-7, LC1.0 DRS, LC1.0 SSR, LC1.0DD DRS, and LC1.5. The LC1.0 features a compact body designed to imitate small baitfish; the standard model dives to approximately 0.9 m, while the LC1.0DD DRS reaches approximately 1.5 m. The LC1.0 DRS produces a subtle clicking sound from its internal single knocker, while the LC1.0 D-7 is a slow-sinking model that targets depths of approximately 2.1 m. The LC1.0 SSR has a short bill for working just beneath the surface, while the LC1.5 is designed to cover shallow cover over a wide area, with a baseline diving depth of approximately 1.2 m. Select the model according to the target depth, type of cover, and fish response to sound, and vary your presentation by contacting obstacles, continuing the retrieve, or briefly pausing after clearing cover.
