Lucky Craft LC Series

Lucky Craft’s LC Series is a line of crankbaits developed to reproduce the feel of balsa squarebill crankbaits in a resin body while providing durability and a stable swimming action. Featuring the cover-deflecting performance of a square bill, they are designed for fishing around and making contact with stumps, laydowns, riprap, rocks, bridge pilings, and weeds. Key features include deflection when the lure contacts an obstacle and a design that allows it to reach its intended depth easily from the start of the retrieve. The high-buoyancy floating models can also be used to clear snags by releasing line tension and allowing the lure to float up when it becomes caught on cover.

The series includes models with different running depths and buoyancies. The LC0.3, LC0.5, and LC0.7 are compact shallow-running models with approximate running depths of 0.3 m, 0.6 m, and 0.7 m, respectively. The LC0.7 DR is a sinking model that dives to approximately 3 m. The LC0.7 DRX is also a sinking model with an approximate 3 m running range, but features a crawfish-inspired body design, a wide wobble, and a hunting action. In addition to a tight swimming action during a standard retrieve, these models are suited to techniques such as deflecting the lure sideways off rocks and pausing to let it rise near cover. By selecting the appropriate running range, buoyancy, and hook size for each model, anglers can cover everything from shallow cover to deeper rocky areas.
