Megabass’s SLAPHOG 3.5-inch is a special hog-style soft bait developed to trigger reaction bites by combining Kenta Kimura’s practical fishing expertise with Yukihiro Ito’s hydrodynamic design. In addition to bottom presentations, it is designed to induce bites when used for jig swimming.
The 3.5-inch body features a large paddle-style appendage and multiple legs, making it suitable for both swimming and bottom contact. Along the bottom, the appendages and legs create a strong presence, while during jig swimming, the entire body moves in sync with the jig to target reaction bites. It can be used with a Texas rig, free rig, or jig. When probing cover or bottom contours, pair it with a Texas rig or free rig; when swimming it through the mid-water column with a jig, use it for jig swimming. Choose the presentation according to the target depth and approach.
