Megabass X-Plose

Megabass’s X-PLOSE DOUBLE SCRATCH is a prop bait developed in pursuit of a unique propeller mechanism and enhanced stability, based on a swisher that Yuki Ito originally made for his private fishing. The front and rear propellers feature a distinctive twisted shape and are machined with gear holes, producing a scratching sound as they rotate. The counter-rotating props spin in opposite directions, increasing body stability while agitating the surface of the water.

Inside, it is equipped with an ultra-low-center-of-gravity flat balancer system. This design helps prevent the body from rolling even when sharply jerked with strong rod action, while making it easier to maintain its posture on rough water. The specially designed props rotate even during a dead-slow retrieve, generating vibration and flash. During a slow retrieve, the body occasionally wobbles gently, creating the movement of weakened baitfish on calm water. Its versatility allows the retrieve technique to be adjusted according to conditions, from reaction-style jerking to a dead-slow steady retrieve. It measures 103 mm in length, weighs 1/2 oz, and features a floating design equipped with two #4 hooks.
