Megabass’s LIVE-X MODEL1 is a long-lip model developed to evolve the concept of the original LIVE-X with the latest technology, designed to trigger a feeding response in fish in a neutral state. Its hydrodynamic body, incorporating the LBOⅡ (Linear Bearing OscillatorⅡ), gets the action going from ultra-dead-slow to extremely fast retrieves, producing a high-pitch rolling action with intense flash.
The internal bearing-equipped weight unit is instantly drawn to and locked in place by the forward neodymium magnetic field when the retrieve begins. The low-center-of-gravity weight functions as a shaft balancer, synchronizing the force and point of action with the roll axis to achieve highly responsive action. Measuring 74 mm and weighing 3/8 oz, it features a floating configuration with a maximum diving depth of 2.1 m. In shallow water less than 2 m deep, it flashes onto its side upon contact with the bottom or cover, avoiding snags while continuing to entice wary fish. The primary retrieve is a steady retrieve, with the lure responding to speed changes from dead-slow to high-speed. Its aeroform, developed through aerodynamic testing, is also designed to support long casts into headwinds and opposing winds. It is equipped with two No. 6 hooks.
