Megabass SV-3

Megabass’s SV-3 is based on the company’s V-3 spinnerbait and was designed by a development team led by Yuki Ito to pursue the performance demanded in tournaments in Japan and the United States. Its compact wire configuration, created with the proprietary LSAA (Level Swimming Angle Arm) form, reduces air resistance during casting while allowing the bait to swim with a natural, level posture. When the retrieve is paused, the bait changes its posture before quickly returning to its swimming position. The combination of ultra-thick steel wire and a triangular platform also facilitates presentations that approach cover from a variety of angles.

The head features the DROP&DELTA BALANCING HEAD, designed to provide straight-tracking stability during ultra-fast retrieves, a flashing, rolling action when contacting cover, and rapid posture recovery after contact. Combining flat and radius surfaces, the SV-BLADE produces flashes as its rotation angle changes, along with distinct vibrations transmitted to the angler’s hand. The HIRAMEN SKIRT is designed to flow in response to the blade’s vibration and retrieve speed, creating a subtle flutter even during the fall and slow retrieves. The 1/4 oz. model is available with SC (Single Colorado) and SW (Single Willow) blade configurations, while the 3/8 oz. to 3/4 oz. models are available with SR (Slow Roll) and DW (Double Willow), allowing anglers to choose according to the blade configuration and weight.
