Megabass KARASHI is a worming bait developed to bring the finesse fishing traditionally approached with 3-inch-class soft baits into the realm of hard baits. Its 59 mm bite-sized profile and slow-sinking configuration are designed to entice wary fish with a natural presence, even when they are visible but reluctant to strike.
With a twitching retrieve, it produces a lively dog-walking and darting action from just below the surface down through the water column, imitating baitfish fleeing from side to side. On a slow retrieve, it primarily delivers a straight-tracking, I-shaped action, while changes in current or line tension bring out a “staggering action” reminiscent of a weakened baitfish. Its defining feature is the ability to switch between darting action with twitches and an I-shaped action on a slow retrieve. The rear hook is fitted with a tinsel hook, providing visual appeal while also helping maintain straight-tracking stability during the I-shaped action. It can be worked by twitching near the surface and then pausing, or searched with a steady slow retrieve while maintaining subtle vibrations. Both the front and rear hooks are size #10, with the rear equipped with the stock tinsel hook.
