Megabass Super Z

Megabass SUPER-Z Z2 is a crankbait designed for reliable contact with structure and the bottom in a compact body, covering everything from mid-range to shallow water. Called “Z2” by the development team, this model features the “Hard Contact Bill,” developed through a thorough focus on structure and design. When it contacts cover or the bottom, it instantly recovers its posture while continuing to swim along the contact surface, providing excellent tracking ability. Another key feature is its ability to deliver contact performance traditionally requiring a larger body volume in a compact 53mm profile.

Inside, it is equipped with the LBO II weight-transfer system, evolved into a shaftless design. Weight movement via high-precision micro ball bearings stabilizes the lure’s flight posture, improving casting distance and action response after splashdown. During the retrieve, its high-pitch drive action starts immediately, allowing anglers to cover broad areas from mid-range to shallow water. The design also makes it easy to sense changes in the lure’s posture when contacting the bottom or structure. It measures 53mm, weighs 1/4 oz., is floating, reaches a maximum diving depth of 2.9m, and is fitted with two #8 hooks.
