Megabass Griffon Bait Finesse

Megabass’s GRIFFON Bait Finesse is a finesse power crankbait downsized from the compact, functional body of the original GRIFFON to a size that is easy to handle with bait finesse tackle. Based on the series concept of combining a compact profile with strong appeal, it features a functional, comfortable shape developed from Yukihiro Ito’s experience and sensitivity.

The floating body measures 38 mm in length and weighs 3/16 oz. Its internal structure and underwater balance are finely tuned to produce a “pinball action,” causing the lure to deflect unpredictably when it contacts cover or the bottom. It also features an escape action that quickly restores its swimming motion after being knocked off course by contact with cover. The basic technique is a steady retrieve after casting, and it performs well from slow to consistent-speed retrieves. It is also suited to imparting changes while making contact with rocks, the bottom, and other structures. The lure is equipped with one No. 10 hook at the front and one at the rear, for a total of two hooks. The SR-X dives to a maximum depth of approximately 1.2 m, while the MR-X reaches approximately 2.2 m. Use the SR-X to search shallow water, and the MR-X to target deeper ranges or work the bottom and areas around cover.
