Megabass’s PROPDARTER 106 is a topwater lure that combines a propeller-equipped body with the LBO II (PAT.) instantaneous center-of-gravity transfer system to achieve both long casting distance and rapid action response. LBO II is a mechanism that instantly shifts a bearing-integrated shaft weight inside the body, stabilizing the lure’s flight posture and allowing it to transition quickly into action after splashdown. The weight is positioned to synchronize with the lure’s roll axis, producing a responsive, seamless rolling action.

The propeller features an asymmetrical design (PAT.P). The molding angles of its various sections, combined with a new material, create an irregular rotation and a lifelike sound. During a straight retrieve, the propeller catches the water and spins, generating an action accompanied by rolling and subtle wobbling. Adding jerks or varying the retrieve speed brings out changes reminiscent of splashes, baitfish rising to the surface, and a surface wake. The scoop-shaped lip firmly catches the water and responds to rod work as well as delicate retrieves. This 106 mm, 1/2 oz floating model offers three-way action that can be selected according to retrieve speed. It is equipped with two No. 4 hooks.
