ECOGEAR’s BUG ANTS is a hog-style soft lure designed to create appeal with a voluminous silhouette relative to its length. Its flat body is combined with intricate legs, and each component catches water to give the entire lure a strong presence. In addition, the large paddle section at the rear of the body creates a unique water-shedding action, producing a distinct, responsive movement when manipulated.

During bottom bouncing, the paddle section flares out firmly, making it easy to create visible changes in the lure’s movement. The combination of the flat body, legs, and paddle allows each component to catch water while the lure moves along the bottom or remains stationary, maintaining a three-dimensional silhouette. Available in 2-inch, 3-inch, and 4-inch sizes, the 3-inch model measures 82 mm. Each size offers a different volume and handling feel, while natural-sinking, half-floating, and floating materials allow you to select the buoyancy suited to your rig and target depth. Centered around bottom bouncing, paying attention to the flare of the paddle section and the water-catching action of the legs helps maximize the distinctive presence of the BUG ANTS.
