Bomber Model A

Bomber’s Model A is a crankbait designed to quickly cover shallow water while maintaining a stable action around cover. Within the series, the BMB04A (Model 4A) features a compact body, a shallow lip, and a single rattle, producing a tight wobbling action. It is designed to come through cover such as rocks, laydowns, and stumps with ease, running at depths of approximately 3–5 feet (0.9–1.5 m). The body measures 2 1/8 inches, weighs 5/16 oz, and is equipped with two #6 treble hooks.

The BMB05A (Model 5A) uses a small 1 3/4-inch, 1/4-oz body and is suitable for downsizing within the Model A lineup by taking advantage of its smaller profile. It dives to approximately 4–6 feet (1.2–1.8 m) and features a tight action that is well suited to fast retrieves. Both models are floating types, allowing you to combine pauses with a rise when contacting cover or stopping the retrieve. They are well suited to working along cover or deflecting off the bottom and then allowing the lure to rise, while adjusting the running depth with retrieve speed and rod work.
