Hayabusa’s FINESSE WACKY FINE GUARD is designed for wacky rigs around weeds and light cover, combining the hooking performance of the Finesse Wacky with wire guards. The twin wire guards, engineered for each hook size, help reduce snagging on obstacles and make it easier to work soft plastics along cover edges and around weeds.
The hook features fine-gauge wire and a straight point designed for quick penetration. Its bend securely holds the soft plastic while driving deeply into the bass’s mouth. Despite being equipped with guards, it retains the easy penetration characteristic of a fine-wire hook. When rigged wacky-style near the center of a soft plastic, it can be fished weightless with a free-fall presentation or shaken after reaching the bottom. It can also be used for neko rigs paired with a nail sinker, making it well suited for probing around weeds and light cover while taking advantage of the guards.
