Hayabusa’s D-STRIKER HEAD TYPE SWIM is a jig head designed for swimming techniques such as mid-strolling and hover-strolling, allowing anglers to navigate around cover and bring the rig to the hookset. Produced by Daisuke Aoki, it is designed for easy control during swimming and improved handling around cover.
The head uses resin tungsten to reduce snagging on cover. The memory twin-wire guard is designed to deflect obstacles while minimizing interference with hook penetration. A loop stopper helps prevent the soft bait from slipping, allowing smooth bait changes while reducing damage to the bait. The hook features a rust-resistant fluorocarbon coating and a deep-biting bend that reduces flex during the hookset for improved penetration. For swimming applications, select the weight according to the target depth and current, rig the soft bait, and swim it at a consistent speed. Multiple hook sizes and weights are available, allowing anglers to choose according to the soft bait and presentation conditions for mid-strolling and hover-strolling.
